Join us for an incredible learning and networking experience with accounting and finance colleagues at the 46th Annual Meonske Professional Development Conference. 

Participants at this year’s conference will benefit from a thoughtful exploration of current issues and future trends impacting the profession. A broad range of topics will be covered throughout the two days. This will include presentations and panel discussions addressing current issues such as:

  • Supply chain challenges and opportunities, 
  • Impact of current and pending financial reporting regulations, 
  • Challenges in recruiting, developing and retaining talent.

In addition, presentations will explore future directions, including the:    

  • Regional and national economic trends, 
  • Role of the controllership in the digital era, 
  • Environmental, social and corporate governance reporting and many more.

This year’s presenters include thought leaders from: 

  • Policy and regulatory organizations such as the FASB (Financial Accounting Standards Board), the SEC (the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, 
  • Senior executives from industry and public accounting, and
  • Sponsoring professional organizations; the OSCPA (The Ohio Society of CPAs) and The Ohio Regional Council of IMA (the Institute of Management Accountants).

About the Conference 

The Meonske Conference is held in Kent, Ohio at the Kent State University Student Center (KSC).  It is named after Norman Meonske, the conference founder and a former KSU accounting professor. The conference has well-deserved reputation for high-quality dialogue and welcoming hospitality. It offers a total of 16 hours of CPE credit. Registrants can attend one or both days of the conference. Early registration is encouraged as capacity is limited.
